The Center for Public Interest Research conducts research, organizing, community service, and public education around critical public interest issues. It also assists partner 501(c)(3) organizations and projects by hosting joint projects and programs, sponsoring new public interest projects, and providing training and technical support in areas such as civic engagement, citizen and student organizing, program development and packaging, internet and social media organizing, grantseeking, membership development, financial management, and legal assistance.

The Center is part of The Public Interest Network, which runs organizations committed to our vision of a better world, a set of core values, and a strategic approach to getting things done.
